Referees are an integral part of roller derby. They keep the game fair and keep the skaters safe. All referees are on skates and enforce the M.A.D.E. rule set. Our zebras are always looking to add to their herd and would love to show you how to wear the stripes.
Not ready to put on skates just yet?
We totally get it, sometimes putting on skates and taking the hits can be a bit intimidating at first, you need to ease into it, or maybe roller derby just isn’t the sport for you; but you still want to get involved. Roller derby would not be possible without the help of all of our volunteers. We are always welcoming volunteers!
Non-Skating Officals, also known as NSOs, are also an important part of roller derby. Without them, out bouts would not be possible. NSOs are off-skates volunteers who help us keep everything in order and running smoothly for scrimmages and bouts. As an NSO you get an up-close view of the bout while working the score board or penalty box. NSOs are needed all over the track!
